*Job Description:* *Job Title :** Business Analyst – Process Mapping* *Location :** Cheyenne, WY* *Duration :** 6+ Months* *Roles and Responsibilities:* *Business Analyst-Process Mapping* · The resource will develop process models that will be used to understand current process flows as well as analysis and potential decisions based on current practice. The processes will be developed at different detail levels and perspectives for use by different audiences and purposes. The processes will be documented with known modeling technology such as Visio or UML. The documentation of processes will aid in communication, alignment, elicitation of requirements, analysis and training. · The resource must have experience in process discovery and use of interview and group discussion techniques to collect necessary data for process mapping. · The resource must have detailed experience in process analysis and be able to identify cross functional areas. The resource must understand process analysis techniques and models. · The resource must be able to redesign processes and transform them in alignment with the design of logical and physical system architecture, technology and aspects. The resource must also have the ability to identify opportunities for transformation as well identification of gaps in current processes to future system requirements and design. · The resource must have experience defining and implementing process performance metrics and the characteristics of such metrics. · The resource must have experience in implementing processes within an enterprise environment and understand how to discover and leverage current enterprise processes for efficiency in development, operations and maintenance. The resource must understand enterprise process management and how to leverage cross functionality activity. · The resource should assist in the creating a methodology for monitoring and controlling business processes. · The resource should have experience with organizational change management and how changes in defined process could alter the organizational structure and roles. · The resource must have excellent verbal communication skills to facilitate meetings and ensure understanding of input/output from subject matter experts. *Specific Deliverables Resource will be Accountable for:* · Meeting overview for all process sessions · Documented process maps for SNAP · Documented process maps for TANF · Documented process maps for Title-IV (Foster care) · Documented process maps for Child Care · Analysis of all process maps for each benefit program · Redesign of process maps with DFS input · Gap analysis and report · Transformation of process maps · Tools, techniques and methodology summary *Specific Conditions of the Engagement:* The Specialist must be available to work on-site in Cheyenne during normal business hours 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday. The position will require significant travel to field offices throughout the State. DFS will provide a PC workstation and office space.
