Job Title :Big Data Architect Duration :6-12 months Location :Washington ,DC >15+ years of technical solutions experience especially in a Data Warehousing and BI landscape including 5+ years in a combination of relevant Big Data/Analytics areas >Hadoop, HBASE, HIVE, FLUME and other Big Data Frameworks, Industry vertical (preferably in Banking and Financial Services) application for Big Data/Analytics >Underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions (Clustered/Distributed Computing, Storage, Data Center Networking) >Certification in Hadoop or one of the Big Data Technologies >Hands-on experience in Horton Works or Cloudera distribution of Hadoop >Specifying an implementation HW and SW solution stack >Experience in Requirements Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment >The Principal Solutions Architect is responsible for · Understanding - emerging and evolving end user usage models and requirements in Data Warehousing, BI, Big Data and Analytics · Documenting those usage models and business, technical and user requirements · Designing solution architectures to meet those requirements · Specifying an implementation HW and SW solution stack · Defining Uses Cases and building Proof of Concepts · Guiding and hand holding the customer and internal teams on the solution and technology The Big Data Architect will work with the client in all stages of Solution.
