Conducts compatibility tests with vendor provided programs and runs in depth testing, diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and determines if program requirements have been met. Recommends program improvements or corrections to programs. Writes, revises and verifies quality standards, use cases, test cases and procedures for both program design and product evaluation using the QA Remedy suite and Microsoft Office. The QA Analyst reviews new modified programs including documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines. Writes and revises documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction, and may train/support users on new functionality/applications. Performs end to end testing and assist in obtaining user sign off after user acceptance testing. Strong documentation skills are required for this position. *Positional competencies:* · Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards, methodologies and processes used during all testing phases · Can create detailed test plans that are usable by anyone regardless of application knowledge · Experienced with Selenium · Must be able to write and communicate issues in a timely manner to the Project Manager and the QA manager · Will document problems, list out possible solutions, and seek out management to help formulate a decision · Performs QA activities within guidelines of the project plan and time requirements. Executes various test types with in time allotted.
