Senior Business Analyst for a long-term position in Brooklyn, NY.

*Project Scope:*

·         Play key role in the enhancement of a financial system that
automates the Social Security representative payee process.

·         Must have experience analyzing, designing, and communicating the
business operational processes and demonstrate *understanding of the
accounting processes.*

·         Experience in *implementing a financial/accounting system.*

*Summary of skills and experience requested:  *

·         *Minimum 8 years of hands-on Business Analysis experience in the
software industry*.  Previous experience with implementation, *support
and/or design of a Financial/Accounting System*.

·         *Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and hands-on
experience analyzing and implementing financial systems*

·          *Must have accounting background* and demonstrate strong
understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.

·         Experience with tools to support diagramming business process*.
(MS Visio)*

·         Strong communication skills and ability to lead meetings with key
stakeholders in the business and technology areas. Must be able to elicit
requirements by gathering information during in-person interviews and
analyze documents to *develop use cases, exception path scenarios, and
perform a gap analysis.*

·         Must have the ability to *assess impact to accounting entries
when enhancements* are added to the system or changes are made to existing
processes.

·         Must be able to develop testing scenarios and test cases;
facility the User-Acceptance testing process and participate in
User-Acceptance testing.

·         Ability to communicate complex processes, problems and solutions
in a simple, compelling, accurate, and highly visual manner

·         Good understanding of *SDLC methodologies* such as Agile, Scrum,
and Waterfall.

·         Identifies opportunities for improving business processes by
gathering functional and non-functional requirements; Assists in the
preparation of proposals to develop systems

·         Good understanding of *Oracle database structures* and concepts

·         Experience *with electronic funds transfer, bank reconciliation
and electronic billing a plus*.
