The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Analyze and resolve Access Management business process and technical related incidences/issues raised by internal customers via remedy ticket and other troubleshooting procedures. Track and report reoccurring production incidences. Assess business operations and processes to identify inefficiencies in procedures, information flows and handoffs, decisions, communication pathways and ways in which systems supporting these can be enhanced. Participate in projects to automate, upgrade, or expand Access Management applications that accomplish business objectives. Should be able to handle requirements, testing or business operations support as the project needs t hem. Position Purpose: - Examine, assess, and document business operations and procedures of a business unit. - Relate these procedures to IT/IS systems and applications that are designed to enable the operating unit to accomplish its objectives. - Assist operating unit staff by developing reports, downloads, and analyses from discipline-specific systems and applications. - Provide input to IT/IS specialists in development projects to assist in developing specifications and functionalities in access control systems. Key Job Functions: - Acts as a key participant in application analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution, defect tracking and reporting. The candidate may also be required to train end users. - Assess procedures and business processes in an operations or support unit for methods of automating them or improving existing applications supporting them. - Participate in meetings with business unit, support teams, product management staff and application developers and project managers to plan development or upgrades of applications used by their offices or business units. - Participate in planning testing and acceptance of newly developed software by client group who will be using it. - May provide support to applications in production by tracking and troubleshooting problems and ensuring continued and efficient operation of application in production, and full access by its users. - Develop analysis, reports and processes supporting applications for operations or management staff of assigned business unit. - May also provide the evidences for audit and SOX.
