Responsible for applications development in an enterprise architecture
environment within .net framework using C#.
Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of
delivering solid, robust applications.
Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts,
have experience working on distributed platforms (Windows preferred or
UNIX) and have experience in a .net framework enterprise architecture
environment.
Knowledge of Rational Unified Process methodology, Agile or other iterative
development methodologies is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal,
analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to
independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused
team.

 *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
• Assist in execution of the migration of applications into a new data
center.
Activities will include assistance with deployment, and trouble shooting
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing assigned activities as
scheduled
• Maintain coding standards and participate in peer code reviews as needed
• Ensure architectural principals and standards are maintained
• Use Unit testing framework and maintain code coverage
• Participate in technical assessment, scoping and management of changes to
the code-based on data center migration related requirements • Collaborate
and work closely with other technical leads and domain experts across
various geographies and time zones • Contribute to technical discussions •
Assist in the development of documentation of existing systems
(specifications, diagrams, flowcharts) outlining functionality,
interdependencies and unit testing requirements

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

Required minimum qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in developing, implementing, and
maintaining solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, including VB.NET,
C#, .NET 3.5 or higher, and WCF
• Advanced knowledge of good coding practices and standards, including code
documentation
• Experience with application integration and codebase debugging
• Working database knowledge including structure and SQL query competency
• Ability to recognize issues in existing software and put together
improvement plans
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Preferred
qualifications:
• Experience in creating technical documentation
• Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS) source
control
• Experience with Agile or Lean Processes
• Experience with Microsoft MQ
• Experience with C++
• Solid understanding of relevant business issues; Experience within the
financial industry is a plus
• Working knowledge of Internet protocols and web server communications,
including HTTP, TCP, UDP, Web Sockets, XMPP, etc.
