Job Description : Senior Hyperion Developer
Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 Months + Skills: Hyperion, BI, Reporting, Metadata, Administration Position Overview/Responsibilities: Individuals in the category are expected to have experience working with OLAP/Reporting/Query tools with multiple RDBMS environments on multiple platforms. Persons in this role will support BI (OLAP/Reporting/Query) processes and tools, which may include commercial off-the-shelf BI products. Provide Production Support – Troubleshooting and resolving application issues Interact with users, BSA’s and project teams to resolve system issues and maintain a stable production environment Develop, improve, and test scripts and programs in both UNIX and Windows environments Perform as subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Hyperion EPM tools Support integrations of External/Internal systems like PeopleSoft financial system using ETL Conduct system testing of changes/fixes/enhancements of applications supported Participate in analysis and implementation of patches and upgrades Performs impact analysis for systems/database modifications. Recommends system improvements, new applications and develops plans to improve service Skills/Requirements: Below is a list of some of the skills that the person should have: Installation, configuration, and administration of tools Management and maintenance of tools’ software releases Metadata development Supervise, guide, direct, and mentor junior team members including managing a team of individuals Creates and maintains data delivery standards to ensure consistent information delivery methods across projects.
