*Summary:*
Role Responsibilities (Functional Tester) :
• Responsible for creating, maintaining and conducting test plans for all
supported pharmacy software and labeling applications
• Assess requirements and design, write test cases, develop testing plans
o Preparation of test cases
o Execution of tests
o Reporting of defects
o Rework
• Document results of tests and review any defects with developers for
resolution
• Collaborate with developers early on in the testing process to develop
test plans and write test cases and scripts
• Identify and log testing results into related QA system
• Manage, deploy and support multiple concurrent software releases through
various testing environments
• Continually manage the testing throughout the lifecycle of the
implementation and development
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Attend team meetings as needed
o Code/configuration reviews (software peer reviews)
o Daily stand up meetings
o R&D – provide input as SME on future
functionality/improvements
o Customer project calls as needed
• Provide account updates to AE Project Leader
• Maintain and deploy baseline configurations for support pharmacy software
and labeling applications
• Other duties as required
Essential Requirements
• Familiarity with software testing processes
• Excellent problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
*• Experience with any of the Scripting Languages
(Java/VBScripts/Python/Ruby/TestNG) • Experience with SQL, Crystal
Reports, other programming knowledge helpful*
• Understanding of common software development practices and tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both
verbal and written.
