Works with the managers to organize these opportunities into logical, manageable IT projects/ tasks. - Translated abstract business requests into tangible manageable IT projects with estimates, benefits and project approaches. Estimated and re-estimated project effort as project scope and degree of knowledge/certainty changes as outlined project scope. - Complied with and demonstrate a sound knowledge of Slicehost’s homegrown systems development methodology for assigned projects and tasks. Appropriately tailors SDLC based on IT guidelines for project size and complexity. - Reviewed tickets on a weekly basis pertaining to data quality to ensure that long term fixed was proposed. Collaborated with architects to ensure database schema was in alignment with business reporting needs. - Produced source system quality reports and analytics code utilizing best practice methodology and technology as defined by the EDW/Reporting team which served as the foundation for dimensional modeling. - Translate business requirements into BI application designs and solutions for BICC team. Performed reporting/analytics requirement and development effort under BICC team’s direction using defined analytics tool set. - Carried out detailed analysis and research and produce formal reports for management including technical leadership of a project work team. Provided consulting on assigned areas and systems to business and IT. - Served as an escalation point for Customer Advocacy Team for unknown errors and issues having no known fix or resolution. Completed RCA, identified and implemented resolution and document findings. - Created campaign reports for onsite campaigns, such as home page, category pages, and other landing pages, and manipulated product data sales by revenue from the data warehouse. - Deep knowledge of sources of data and conditions to explain outcomes to stakeholders. Provide management and teams with recommendations based on meaningful analysis and trends. - Create and maintain functional design documents from business requirements and engineered the solution to address diverse requirements, proposing alternate solutions and workarounds that do not need customizations. - Assisted in managing projects through completion including project tracking, monitoring, reporting and administration.
