skills – on time in office, no ramp up time
Must Haves :
UI role
o Strong in java
o Javascript
o Angular JS or Jquery
o Spring MVC - writing web services
Java role
o Strong programing in core java
o Spring MVC
o Data architectures
Full Stack role - 50% front end, 50% backend
o Java, jquery, spring MVC, Javascript
o EXT is preference in core java
Day to Day :
These developers will be on one of three teams – public website, agent
based applications, or 3rd party services. They will be responsible for new
development in existing products and some data enhancement.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and
translate to design
• Source code development and Unit tests development
• Functional/system integration testing support and Deployment
• Integrate component design
• Support production as needed and meet development schedules
Must Haves for UI Dev
· Minimum 5 Years of experience in working with JavaScript.
· Experience with Java, JSP, Servlet, Javascript, CSS, HTML.
· Experience with JBoss, Apache and Tomcat
· Minimum 3 years of experience in Modern JavaScript libraries like
jQuery or AngularJS
· Experience in doing responsive design and mobile app development.
Cordova experience is a plus.
· Experience in with working with XML, XSLT, and JSON and its
Parsers
· Experience with Spring, Spring MVC
· Experience using and implementing RESTful web services
· Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform
compatible solutions
Must Haves for Backend Dev
Minimum 8 Years experience in working with Java
· Good Understanding of Core Java libraries
· Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries such as
the Executor framework.
· Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, ORM(Hibernate or MyBatis is a
plus)
· Experience using and implementing RESTful web services
· Experience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere.
· Experience in with working with XML, XSLT, and JSON and its
Parsers
· Strong understanding of SQL database design and stored
procedures
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing web-based applications
• Minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE
technologies•
• Must have good understanding of non-functional requirements
(performance, scalability, maintainability, security)
• Familiarity with Web application security considerations
• Prior experience developing property & casualty applications a
plus
• Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively
prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention
to detail
