1. Strong hands-on *Oracle *database administration experience
1. Strong experience with Oracle high availability (HA) and data
replication technology, *GoldenGate*, GoldenGate performance tuning,
point-in-time recovery on GoldenGate, conflict detection, log dump
analysis, GoldenGate tracing, Oracle streams, Oracle performance tuning,
ability to do bi-directional replication, etc.
2. Strong *performance tuning* and diagnostics within Oracle (i.e.
ability to provide SQL tuning, database tuning, tuning using tracing,
events tuning, etc.)
2. *OS-level debugging* experience i.e. working with log queues, tracing
at the OS level, looking at OS logs, etc. for AIX/Linux debugging
Nice-to-have:
1. Automation scripting with *Python/Shell*
Day-to-day: We are looking for a strong Oracle Database Engineer who will
be responsible for handling performance tuning issues, implementing new
architecture in place, and troubleshooting database issues for our internal
teams.
