*Job Title: Java Developer*
*Duration: 6+ months *
*Location: Marlborough/ Boston, Massachusetts 02052*
*Interview Mode: Phone and webex *
*Must have Java, Webservices, AWS, SQL and more of a Backend exp.*
*Keys to this position *
*1. We are seeking a Hands-on Technical Lead with 10+ plus years of
development experience. *
*2. Must have experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Web
Services, and Multi-threading development*
*3. Must have at least 4 years of experience leading a team. The team
that they will be leading will be approximately 5 resources in an
offshore/onshore model working in Boston and Marlborough.*
*4. Excellent Communication skills are required*
*Experience with SQL or PL/SQL is a plus.*
*AWS is a +*
****This position will be based in Marlborough but will require the person
to work in Boston 2 days per week*
*Minimum Requirements:*
*Qualifications*
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering subject plus
seven (7) years of experience in hands-on software development and delivery
experience in a commercial environment:
- 7+ years of experience as a software developer supporting complex
application development life cycles
- Very strong command of the Java Platform including an understanding
of the concurrent programming concepts and the java memory model
is required
- Demonstrated experience developing Web Applications and Services
using JAVA, JAX-RS, Spring, JPA and other related technologies
- Demonstrated expertise in relational database technologies with
strong SQL and Excel skills will be a plus
- Demonstrated experience with XML, JSON, shell scripting and
UNIX/Linux
- An understanding of the Cloud based technologies including AWS
is a strong plus
- Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern
software development and DevOps methodologies is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and
verbal are required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, engineering, sciences,
or related field.
- Experience in Financial Industry while not necessary will be
a plus
- *This position will be based in Marlborough but will require the
person to work in Boston 2 days per week.*
