The patch in subject is leading to brick crashing in some cases. I
just found RC. Poornima, Raghavendra and I are discussing best way to fix
it so that we can still retain the functionality. 3.10 branch has this
patch, so notifying maintainers that we should make sure not to make the
release with this patch. We will give further updates by EOD today.
