No. In fact, gtk+-2.0 requires cairo, which requires xrender >= 0.6. I
removed
the .pc-files for the legacy .so as there should be no compiles against
the legacy library.
But.... it was working before. How did it break now??
we dont have a "new" cairo. so its a mystery why cairo is complaning now,
other than "we dont have xrender installed any more".
Seems like you could just install xrender again and it would be happy
It now works on the test machines :)
