ideas?
Yes, because it tries to build on build8s instead of build9s, and as
SOS12 doesn't run on Solaris 8 it is not installed there:
[===== Building modulation 'isa-sparcv8' on host 'build8s' =====]
ssh build8s "PATH=/home/dam/mgar/pkg/pinentry/trunk/gar/bin/sos12-
wrappers:/home/dam/mgar/pkg/pinentry/trunk/work/solaris9-sparc/

solaris9-sparc/install-global/opt/csw/bin:/home/dam/mgar/pkg/
pinentry/trunk/work/solaris9-sparc/install-global/opt/csw/sbin:/home/
dam/mgar/pkg/pinentry/trunk/work/solaris9-sparc/install-global/opt/
csw/sbin:/opt/csw/bin:/opt/csw/bin:/opt/csw/sbin:/opt/csw/sbin:/opt/
studio/SOS12/SUNWspro/bin:/home/dam/mgar/pkg/pinentry/trunk/gar/bin:/
usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/java/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/openwin/bin gmake -
C /home/dam/mgar/pkg/pinentry/trunk PLATFORM=solaris9-sparc
MODULATION=isa-sparcv8 ISA=sparcv8 merge-modulated"
The PACKAGING_PLATFORMS currently only specify on which the hosts the
package is assembled. I guess it should also set the minimum OS level
where the package is built, but it currently doesn't do that. In the
meantime I added a patch as r7558 resetting the default buildhosts
for pinetry. Hopefully I can fix this cleanly in GAR on monday.
BTW, please make sure you do "gmake garchive" some time so the
source files get archived.
Best regards
