Sure. I haven't done so yet because I don't know if this is what maintainers expect. Should only the packages from the current catalog be removed? Or also stable? Or allpkgs/ ? If we have consensus I can activate it any time.

I think that stable plus current would be good.  I'm not sure about
allpkgs, whether it's necessary.  In the day-to-day work, removing
packages matching those in current is the most important.

Done. Experimental is now cleaned from released packages daily. To be removed the file in experimental must have the same name and must be identical to the
released one.
