There are a number of issues here:
- The tag name is not suitable for pkgproto. The '=' is not allowed in
pathnames
as it is also used in prototypes. At the time I made this tag I was
not aware
of this issue. I have renamed the tag to work again.
- The major difference between installed Perl 5.10.1 and build of Perl
5.8.8 leads
to some effects in the core updates which needs fixing too.
I am working on it.
BTW, are you rebuilding 5.8.8 for a specific reason?
