it's late. I intend to reply in more depth tomorrow. however I wanted to give you a chance to use the crosstimezone delay to address this issue; pointing to a mailing list thread, and references in gar, do not make for a policy writeup. or even a good proposal writeup, after the initial "what do you guys think?" email if people are going to be able to follow either a proposal or policy, it needs to be written up as an explicit document unto itself. someone needs to properly write up a web page for it, and then we can iron out the rough points. I'm hoping you might do that in the next 12 hrs or so. if you dont, then I will take it on.
