Hi, in some setups, I am sitting behind a rsync'ed local copy of our mirror. The rsync job is not within my administrative realm and in case there are problems with it, I might see a stale catalog.
Now to spot such cases, it would be helpful to see the catalog generation date. The catalog file itself doesn't seem to contain the date directly, though the GPG signature could be used to determine the sign date (which doesn't have to be equal to the generation date). Would it be possible to integrate the generation date into the catalog during build time? And what do you think about integrating this date information in pkgutil -V output (or similar)?
