Greetings college sailors,
If you are looking for some great competition and a chance to have a lot of fun, consider racing in the Snipe National Championship (10-14 July) or Snipe Jr. National Championship (8-9 July) in Erie, PA this summer. Erie has a lake like protected harbor and is located right between Cleveland and Buffalo, NY - only six hours from Boston, NYC, or Annapolis. Camping at the club is an option and boats are available. Many of your fellow college sailors grew up racing snipes in Miami, Tampa, and San Diego. We are expecting these guys (Mikee Anderson, Graham Biehl, Zack Brown, Brian Kamilar, & Adam Roberts) to compete this year. Other competitors include Olympic hopefuls and world class champions. The Jr. Nationals will be a qualifier for the 2007 Jr. World Championship in Europe next summer. For more info on the regattas or help getting a boat, check out: http://erieyachtclub.org/2006snipe.htm If you are interested or need help, let me know. Hope to see you in Erie this summer. _________________________________________________ maisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.collegesailing.org/mailman/?listname=maisa
