Unfortunately, three teams withdrew from this event so this is an invitation to all teams, that are not scheduled to participate in another women's regatta the weekend of October 14-15 to come to City Island, NY and enjoy a terrific sailing venue; good but not overpowering competition; some great NY chow, i.e., bagels, clam chowder and cheesecake, and wonderful camaraderie and fun.
If you can make it, please advise Ann Campbell and me as soon as possible. For Columbia, Cornell, Rochester & Fordham, if only four schools participate, weather permitting, a one-day regatta will probably result.
