The 2007 MAISA Draft First, thanks to all who got your picks in on time. 34 teams sent their picks in on time, five more got theirs to me in time to be included in the draft, and just four have yet to send their picks. I will give them as many of their picks as are left if they get them to me right away. We had very few problems and most of those were due to people not reading the instructions. With the new e-mail system, your cooperation, and the resulting few ambiguities we had a smooth draft that finished earlier than last year. Sam Winters, Bret Winters, and Jim White are to be thanked for giving up their Saturday to pull this off. Deletions to the schedule will be taken and processed at any time starting now. I will post the 3rd Draft to the MAISA list on December 8th.
Additions to the schedule will not be made until 9:00 AM, December 11th. This will allow all teams time to review the schedule and to have an equal chance at picking through the remaining openings. NO additions to the schedule will be accepted that are post marked before 9:00 AM on December 11th. Any and all additions submitted before 9:00 AM, December 11th will be treated as though they arrived on December 12th. Thanks again. With your cooperation, I think we have had the most accurate and complete scheduling ever.
