Regatta Highlights:
Saturday: Sailors were met with a 0-5 knot northerly, while forecasts
called for a 7-12 knot southerly breeze. 6 races were sailed in the
stubborn northerly with 1 knot of current, making for challenging
conditions for all competitors. At 2:00, the Southerly filled in with a
bit of sun and great sailing in 12-15 breeze. 1 protest was heard on
Saturday evening. Thank you to the sailors of New York Maritime for
running a great event.
Sunday: Forecast is for sunny skies and northwest wind at 7-15 knots.
