FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Mild temperatures and a steady breeze greeted sailors Saturday morning.
Racing began promptly in an 8-10 knot breeze from the North. Wind decreased
over the day with the final set sailed in 4-6 knots. One request for
redress was filed
but not granted. Given the weather forecast for Sunday it was decided to
end
the regatta at the conclusion of racing today. When not sailing, sailors
were
entertained by a Concrete Canoe contest being conducted off the adjacent
beach.
Congratulations to KP and Cornell for securing final two berths for the
America's Trophy.
