Navy Laser Open 2007
US Naval Academy
September 8-9
3:22 PM 9-9-07
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Sat: Conditions were light and shifty from the WSW for the first set.
However the breeze moved left to the south and provided great laser
sailing in 12-15 kts. 14 races were sailed and there was one DSQ.
Sun: Races were delayed due to light breeze but it filled in to 5-8 kts
from the southwest. The breeze then switched to the SE and slowly died
so the last race was sailed in 4 kts. Racing was close but no protests
on sunday.
A big thanks to the mids for running a great event!
Congrats to Charlie,Jay,Alex,Royce and Jesse for qualifying for the
Vanduyne in three weeks.
