The morning began with the teams welcoming Royal Military College and
thanking them for making the long trip from Kingston, Ont. It was
determined by the competitors that a double round robin format would be
best. Nine teams competed with two divisions on the water at the same time
allowing for 14 races in each division on Saturday at the Luce Trophy. Ted
Hale, Ben Whtman and Reid Vitarelli did a great job keeping the event
humming along with both fleets enjoying gold cup courses all day. Other
than the first couple hours of rain, the conditions were great. Winds
started Southeast at 10-14 and slowly worked South and ended in a light
Westerly in sunshine.
Four races in each division are scheduled for Sunday.
