Information and reminders for those teams who will be sailing in the MASIA Club Championships regatta at Ocean County College this weekend. The Championships will be held at the Toms River Yacht Club on the Toms River. Racing will take place directly in front of the club.
This year's event is again supported by the Toms River law firm of Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle and Sacks. 1 We will be providing bagels, coffee, tea and water on Saturday and Sunday morning. Skippers meeting will be held at 9:00 am. 2. We will be sailing two fleets at the same time on the same course. 420's and Techs 3. We will again be sailing on the CNU Box which features: a beat to windward, a broad reach, a beat to windward, a beam reach, and a run to the finish. with separate start and finish lines and continuous adjustment of the course. 4. We will have on the water judging with three US Sailing Judges. 5. Saturday there will be a 30 minute lunch break, Sunday will not have a break. 6. Bottled water will be on the dock both days. 7. Each team will be provided with 5 commemorative T shirts compliments of the law firm of Carluccio, Leone, Dimon, Doyle and Sacks. 8. Hot Dogs and hamburgers will be served immediately following Saturdays races. 9. Our plan is to have the regatta finished by 1:00 on Sunday. Roy J.
