REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday
11 gold cup races sailed in 420’s Due to high winds from the northwest Techs
were not used. Winds were steady 15 mph with gusts to 24.
Due to a TRYC function all races were finished by 3:30. OCC students hosted a
BBQ at the club.
Sunday
9 gold cup races were sailed in 420’s Winds from the west 6-10 mph
Many thanks go to Judges Drew Seibert, Harry Foote and Bob Morrow for the on
the water judging. Two protests were heard with two DSQ’s. Thanks go to PRO
Mike Gutshall and his regatta team Christina Connell, Perry Connell, and June
Kingman. Outstanding race management led to a first class Championship.
