The info for that event now reads: S07-3 15-16 March TEAM RACE CHALLENGE 8 Team Regatta with priority to Non-Prosser teams WAC / FJ / 0900 Top Non-Prosser team eligible for the Prosser S10-4. Also note the rules regarding the Team Race Nationals and participation of the Prosser teams in the TR Challenge: The Team Race Nationals are held in conjunction with Women's and Dinghy North Americans. Qualifiers from the Capt. “Joe” Prosser Trophy Regatta, the MAISA Team Race Championship, qualify for the ICSA Nationals. MAISA qualifiers are selected as follows: a. The top seven MAISA teams from the War Memorial prequalify for the Capt Prosser Regatta. Regular and Provisional MAISA teams may sign up for the Team Race Challenge, but those who are prequalifiers are not be permitted to use sailors who will be participating in the Prosser Regatta. The Challenge is not meant to be a practice regatta for the Prosser.. b. The next MAISA team in the War Memorial standings which does not prequalify will host the Challenge. Should that team be unable to host such an elimination, the next team on the list would do so, etc. c. All Regular and Provisional MAISA teams which have not prequalified may sign up to sail in the Team Race Challenge. d. The winner of the Challenge will advance to the MAISA Team Race Championship along with the 7 prequalifiers, for a field of 8 teams.
