The St. John's College Sailing Club has 6 sets of FJ sails, in bags,
for sale, at $50 OBO per set (main and jib). We recently got 7
moderately used sets from St. Mary's, so these are what we're getting
rid of. The newest set is about 5 1/2 years old, the rest appear to be
about 1 or 2 years older. Please realize that SJC puts very little
use (about 3 hours per week practice time) onto their sails compared
to a varsity program, so 5-7 years use may be less than you think.

We would prefer to sell these sails as a group, but will entertain
other requests, on a first-come, first-served basis. Your email date/time
will determine priority, just like scheduling with Dan.

We also have 3 420 mains and 2 420 jibs, with almost-new fabric, for free.
Why for free? They've apparently been sitting on the shelf at Vanguard
for quite a while. The jibs have some rust spots on the luff, which
suggests something may be going on with the wire underneath. And when
we attempted to sell the mains to a youth club as a thank you for the
great deal they gave us on our last 4 FJs, they told us that the leach
and foot was not cut as full as their newest 420 sails. So these sails
as being given away AS IS.

We will be coming to the MAISA Annual meeting at UMBC on Feb 2, so we can
bring the sails up then. Otherwise, shipping could approximately double
your cost.
