Racing began in a steady Northeasterly at 6-10 knots where 22 races were
completed in FJs and 420s. After being socked in by fog around noon
with teams unable to find the weather mark only 100 yards away, racing
was suspended until the Southerly filled. After a postponement due to a
30-knot squall, racing continued in only 420s in 20-30 knots. 35 races
were completed, with 2 protests filed.
