Dear Teams Attending the North 2 Regatta at Cornell,
Please look over the following information pertaining to the regatta this weekend and plan accordingly. We are in the middle of construction on our new boathouse so expect some changes. * Wet suits/Dry Suits Strongly Recommended *While the weather is supposed to be on the warmer side this weekend, the lake is still quite cold. All participants should wear a wet suit at the minimum and dry suits are strongly encouraged. *Parking* Because of construction there is limited amounts of parking on site now. Please follow team member directions when you arrive. Double or Triple parking may be required to hold all cars on the site. In light of this be sure you bring all required items to the venue (INCLUDING LUNCHES) when you arrive since leaving may be challenging before the end of the day. Do not park in the construction zone. *Facilities* There will be several porta-potties available to competitors, but the larger bathrooms with changing areas are not currently in service. There is no running water on the site either. Please plan accordingly. *RP Forms, Shelter, Etc* We will be running the regatta out of our storage facility. If you have questions about where RP Forms, Protest Forms, Rotations, etc are posted ask a team member but they should be posted in or near the trailer. A limited amount of protection from the elements will be available in the form of several canopies. Please be sure to bring plenty of warm clothing, blankets, etc for keeping warm when not sailing. *Mud* If the weather does turn wet, the site will likely be very muddy. We suggest bringing a different pair of shoes for wearing around the regatta site. We will have wash basins on the dock for competitors to clean off their feet before entering the boats. Please make use of these so the boats do not become a giant mess. Thank you for enduring the construction. We look forward to having you here both this weekend and in the future to enjoy the new Merrill Family Sailing Center which will be completed this fall!!!
