FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
On Saturday, light winds and heavy rain prevented the fleet from getting much
sailing in and only two races were completed. Sunday morning was even lighter
and the fleet was stuck on shore until a light Southerly filled in around 1.
Six more races were completed to make for a quality regatta. Ensign Ian Gill
and his team of Midshipmen did a great job running quality races in difficult
conditions and Barbara Herbig kept the peace on the racecourse as an on the
water judge. Congratulations to the top four competitors who qualified for the
Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men’s Single-handed National Championship at USMMA on
October 11-12.
