REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday - Light breeze from the North in the morning coming in between three
to six knots. This led to very shifty wind in the first rotation. As the day
progressed, the wind shifted to the south. This is the more normal direction in
Kingston, coming in off the lake. The breeze picked up to 15-18 knots for the
rest of the day with big swells. The breeze never made it over completely to
the south west, leading the wind to remain somewhat shifty. A normal Kingston
day in terms of wind and waves, but odd and shifty direction.
