FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
SATURDAY: Beautiful sunny skies, fall temperatures and a great northerly
greeted the sailors. Eight races were completed in A-division and six were
completed in B. A mid-day current change and the corresponding move in the
course was the only slight delay in the rotation.
One protest resulted in a DSQ in race 7A. Syracuse was a no-show, but
fortunately a team from the Naval Academy happened to be on campus to take
their place!
SUNDAY: More great conditions in the Bronx! A puffy Northeasterly blew off of
campus with gusts to 15 knots and some bigg lulls towards shore. Six
A-Division and eight b-division races were completed.
Three protests were filed, resulting in three DSQs.
Many thanks to the Maritime sailors who ran an outstanding event!
Congratulations to Cornell and Columbia who earn the final two North spots to
the War Memorial.
