REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Morning rain greeted competitors as a front moved through this morning.
A light westerly filled as the front passed and the boats launched at 1130,
unfortunately the breeze died before we could get any racing off. The teams
waited ashore until a southerly filled in. 4 races were run in 5-8 kts of
breeze, courses were windward leeward twice around, with leeward gates.
Thanks to Herb Larrabee for umpiring on the water and the Midshipmen for
getting off 4 good races in challenging conditions. There were no protests,
redress, or breakdowns.
Syracuse was a no show.
