if you have a program like reaper, or vsthost or some other kind of daw you can use it's wave recorder to capture the audio from the synthesizers if your'e using software. Also you could use vac (virtual audio cable) to feed different parts of your soundcard to itself. I think coolsoft's got an audio output change feature, but I'M unsure as I only used coolsoft for all of 2 days maybe. ----- Original Message ----- From: "AndrĂ© Baldo" <[email protected]>

About Jaws, you can put its voice to sleep before playing back the
midi. If you want better quality, there are programs which convert
MIDI to WAV or MP3.

Hello all.

I have returned my keylab midi controller, and bought a Novation impulse,
which can use any synth, and I downloaded coolsoft's synthesizer, and that is working well for me. However, and this seems to happen in GS too, I have a feeling it is universal, but does anyone know why, when I reopen a saved
midi file, it reverts to midi channel -1 for everything? Also, can anyone
who uses a screen reader give tips on recording a midi file to audio
without
making jaws chatter in the background, or degrading the quality, because
I'm
having the computer record its own speakers with Audacity or Gold Wave?
This
is very exciting, my friend and I have already made two songs with QWS, and
I am getting somewhere with MIDI. Thank you all for your help a few weeks
ago.
