OK, I hope I can explain this clearly. In order to delete sections of music
within QWS, You must follow this process
1. Press page-up to go to the top of your track list.
2. Go to the beginning of the section you want to delete and press
shift L to insert a left marker.
3. Now go to the end of the section you want to delete and press shift
R to insert the right marker.
4. Once this is done, press control M to select the region you have
just marked.
5. Press delete.
6. Since you can only do this for one track at a time, hehere's what
you do.
7. now you arrow down through your tracks, pressing control M and then
delete on each one.
I hope this helps, and happy sequencing!

Hi, James,

Thank you for your suggestion. I must be doing something wrong! There's no
change in the start of the song.

Here's what I did, hopefully doing what you said to do. I got to the place
where I wanted to have the song begin. There are 6 tracks, so I put a mark
on each track. These were from 1 to 6, corresponding to the track numbers. I
hope that's what I was supposed to do. I wasn't sure on this point.

Next, I jumped to one of the marks. Just as a test, any of them brought me
to the right point.

Then I pressed shift-control-home. Then I press the delete key.

When that didn't work, I tried using control-delete. Still no good.

I look forward to knowing what I should have done.
