Israeli army turns Jenin into giant concentration camp
Occupied Jerusalem: 11 September, 2001 (IAP News) - For the second
consecutive day, Israeli tanks, armored vehicles and thousands of crack
occupation troops continued to encircle the northern West Bank town of
Jenin, cutting off it from surrounding areas and isolating it from the rest
of
the
world.
Israeli tanks had taken positions on key intersections to the town
and Israeli troops seized strategic hilltops to shoot at Palestinians on the
streets of
Jenin.
Israeli occupation troops murder 11 Palestinians in past 24 hours

Taking advantage of the world's preoccupation with events in the
United States, the Israeli occupation army has dramatically escalated its
bloody
rampage against Palestinians throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Hospital sources said Israeli tanks bombarded Palestinian towns and
villages in the Jenin area, killing as many as ten people and injuring many
others.
Children are reported to be among the victims, according to the
sources.

Palestinian officials on Wednesday called on the world to pay
attention to atrocities the Israeli occupation army is carrying out in the

New York.
WIDE CAMPAIGN OF ARRESTS IN WESTBANK

- Occupation forces kidnapped the injured in Jenin from inside
ambulances and took them to unknown destinations. Head of Arraba�s
municipality
called on all international establishments to release the injured, many
of who are in critical conditions.
Israeli Forces Make Several Incursions and shell Jenin; Eleven Palestinians

While the world is preoccupied with the tragic incidents in the
United States, Israel has launched an official media campaign of hatred
accusing
Palestinians and Arabs of involvement in the hideous onslaught on the
World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington.
Meanwhile, Israeli troops continued to attack Palestinian civilians
in the West Bank town of Jenin, shelling civilian homes using artillery
shells
and
heavy automatic gunfire. Apache helicopters were also used in the
Israeli
onslaught firing air-to-land missiles on Araba and Tamoun in the district of
Jenin. At present the death toll of the Israeli overnight aggression in
the occupied Palestinian territories is 11.

Israeli army murders Palestinian driver near Ramallah
Occupied Jerusalem: 13 September, 2001
Israeli occupation soldiers on Thursday murdered a Palestinian
driver
from East Jerusalem, after he allegedly refused to heed orders to stop.
Palestinian sources said Israeli occupation soldiers manning a
roadblock west of Ramallah opened fire on a Palestinian car near the village
of
Kharabtha (west of Ramallah), killing 24-year-old Ra'afat Ehmeidan al
Malhi.
Israeli occupation army murder four more Palestinians, Netanyahu describes
attack on US as "very good" for Israel
Occupied Jerusalem: 13 September, 2001 (IAP News)- The Israeli
occupation army today murdered four more Palestinian civilians during
indiscriminate bombardment of Jenin and surrounding villages and
refugee
camps.
The four have been identified as Khattab Abdul Fattah Jabarin, 33,
Fakhari Mustafa Sleit, 32, and Raja Saleh Freihat, 24 years old.
The fourth victim, Sufyan Tawfik al-Ardha, reportedly died from
injuries after the Israeli army refused to allow an ambulance taking him to
hospital
to proceed.

SEVERAL INJURIES IN JERICHO SHELLING AND PENETRATION

Nine Palestinian civilians, among them children, were injured
yesterday during Israeli shelling of Jericho residential areas before
invading
the city.
Thirty Israeli tanks penetrated the city from the north and south
within a distance of 2 km in a first operation of the kind in Jericho.
Helicopters flew
over Jericho a the same time and fired light bombs into the sky,
turning
the night into bright daylight.

INVASION AND SEVERE DESTRUCTION OF JENIN

Jenin and its refugee camp were shelled this morning for the fourth
day. Jenin was also shelled randomly last night from the southern entrance.
Israeli tanks invaded the West Bank city of Jenin at dawn yesterday
for the second day running after shelling the city and its refugee camp with
missiles and heavy machine gun fire while war planes flew over the
city.
Occupation forces occupied the Palestinian security headquarters
(al-Muqat'a) and blew up the General intelligence headquarters as well as
the
home of Abu Ali al-Turk, the General Director of presidential security.
Severe destruction was also inflicted on several homes.
FIVE PALESTINIANS KILLED AND SEVERAL INJURED BY ISRAELI FIRE

Chief Muslim Cleric Detained in Israel

Israeli occupation army enters Ramallah, attack civilians

Taking advantage of the world preoccupation with events in the

States, the Israeli occupation army has made a fresh incursion into the West
Bank town of Ramallah, the headquarters of PA chairman Yasser Arafat.
Palestinian security sources said a large contingent of Israeli
tanks, armored vehicles and troops advanced to the southern outskirts of
Ramallah
shortly after dawn Saturday amid strong resistance from Palestinian
resistors.
Apartheid occupation regime launches strikes throughout Gaza

The ground and air forces of the Israeli apartheid regime today
pounded Palestinian civilian and police targets throughout the Gaza Strip,
killing and
injuring a number of civilians.
Hospital sources said Israeli tanks fired large and medium-size
munitions onto residential neighborhoods in Rafah and Khan Younis, injuring
civilians
including school children.
The sources said as many as 15 civilians and policemen were
injured,
two critically.
"The Zionist criminals are exploiting the tragic events in the
United States to murder as many of our people as possible," said a
Palestinian
police
official in Rafah, who was reached by telephone.
