There has been no change in the behavior of EXE_FILES for years. EXE_FILES has always taken an array ref as far as I can tell. This appears to be a case of the old Makefile.PL being broken and MakeMaker not saying anything about it until now. Unless someone can show an example of that syntax working (not just being quiet) in 5.6.1? -- Michael G.
