Looking at this problem a bit deeper, what's really happened is when
MakeMaker generates a default INSTALLSITEMAN3DIR (when, for example,
$Config{installsiteman3dir} doesn't exist) it uses the value of MAN3EXT to
determine the man subdirectory rather than just a hard-coded 3.
So I guess it boils down to: should man pages with the extension of 3pm go
into man3 or man3pm?
