Basically, when Makefile.PLs in subdirectories are run @ARGV from the parent Makefile.PL is propagated but deliberately ignored. It appears to have always been this way. What I'm trying to figure out is why? Anyone know? -- If you got the wax out of your ears you could hear the twister picking up the trailer park of your future!
