Done. Although that will not help me, except having me moving away from 
Makemaker, which is a much bigger step for me as including the abstract 
into META.yml manually (which I already do).

That will not work, because my "package" does not have a POD where search 
can extract the ABSTRACT from. (It does this, btw, already). The entire 
problem was that if I specify ABSTRACT, not ABSTRACT_FROM, then search 
will not see it, because it does not evaluate Makefile.PL (due to 
security risks).

No it can't, because there is no file to look in. That was the problem :)
