I roll to disbelieve that Github doesn't work in Firefox. Is it tragically old? Do you have Javascript turned off? Is it otherwise crippled? Is the "doesn't work" light on your browser flashing or steady? Either way, you may be surprised to find that makemaker@perl.org is not their support queue.
