   It sounds like you can't access the subdirectories under the main  
Mantis directory. The images and css files are in subdirectories.

   Aside from permissions, the path that Mantis is using may be  
incorrect. Can you check the URL for the images to see if it is  
correct? The $g_path variable is Mantis' attempt to figure out the  
path to the installation.
