The script provided in the admin directory dumps all files directly in the
mantis webpages directory ... I will try work tomorrow on a script that does
it where you want !

That would be great, I think this should be the way to go for
attachments, authentication, etc.
If you can apply the patch to 1.1.x branch, then that would even be better
