FYI - this is solved. this is more of a generic project and we had no versions
assigned/defined for it. Therefore the field doesn't show, or so it seems.
As for the duplication of notes with the API - our guess is that when we query
the info and set it up to be updated it added them as new notes because of our
user id or something. We have a work-around.
Thank you

Subject: Re: [mantisbt-help] Some fields missing from advanced bug view
Additionally the notes that existed on the issue are getting duplicated when we
run the update function from the API. We are working it out, but I thought
maybe we are using it slightly incorrectly. I also did find this post about
this so we are looking into it now.

And before anyone comments, I know this is an old version. I have inherited it
this way and will be working to improve it and update it.

Subject: [mantisbt-help] Some fields missing from advanced bug view
We are running Mantis 1.1.7. We were using the web services API to update
fields related to another ticket system. I noticed a few things when
double-checking the changes. there were some issues that when I click on the
issue number to see the full advanced view of the issue "Target Version" and
another field I can't remember is not shown at all. On my other issues they
are. These are not custom fields, these are fields that are part of the
default Mantis installation.
Why do they not show up? I thought at least all of the default view pages
would have all the fields.
has anyone ever seen this?
