Is my high school Latin so weak that I fail to understand why Vincenzo Crupi is "leaving the list"?
Videtur mihi eum permanere velit!

Of course. Am guessing that Crupi decided to send his message to the group by replying to an old one, without changing the subject header (which I am doing now).

Except for Patrick Roper's news about the newly discovered opera, we have been silent for a long time. I apologize for this -- I always mean to throw out a question, and then I never do. Something I have been thinking about, though, for some time, iss how I can teach the Aeneid more effectively.

Ita est: permanere volo et ut barbaris utar verbis optimi viri docti  Wilsonii Okamurae qui sane coniecit de quaestione quae hic  posita est I) I decided to send message by replying to an old one (vide  epistula missa die XXVI septemb.  A Wilson okamura  quam in adnotatione afferam[1]); II) quae Wilson okamura dicit quom autumat Except for Patrick Ropers.we have been silent vera sunt. Silentium virorum doctorum me induxit ut ea verba scriberem.

Nec a me tantam suspiciebam moveri quaestionem!

Salvete, viri docti.

I think that you signed up for it.....this is a list serve for those enthused with Virgil. you would have had to request to be place on this list.

No one gets signed up for this list without expressing a specific interest in Virgil. Having said this, if anyone would like to be deleted from the list, there are instructions for doing so at the end of every email. Failing that, you can email me PRIVATELY at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please, though, don't send messages of this kind to the group as a whole.
