* PostGIS at Telascience
PostGIS is up and running. Thanks to Astrid and Dietmar. An instance of
GeoServer 1.5 shall also be installed (hopefully until Thu, Sep 20). Uli
has taken charge of it.
* Wiki update (Main page etc) have a look at [[1]]- User:Astrid Emde
The navigation bar has been updated by Astrid, thanks. Further work is
required. Christoph has been granted Sysop rights to join in.
* Mapbender 2.4.3 to be released this week - User:Christoph Baudson
Layout of portal site is to be updated by Lars. Further documentation on
how to document the development is to be written by Christoph. The
release will be out on Friday, and will also be on the Telascience server.
* another Mapbender dev sprint? - User:Christoph Baudson
There already is a code sprint in Merano, Italy
(http://wiki.osgeo.org/index.php/European_GIS_Code_Sprint). A code
sprint in Bonn might be organized as well, Christoph will send a mail to
dev.
* work groups status report (see
http://www.mapbender.org/index.php/Category:Workgroup)
RESTful Mapbender Evaluation workgroup: Arnulf recommended a book:
Leonard Richardson, Sam Ruby: RESTful Web Services, Sebastopol, 2007.
Everyone involved should read it.
