Hi,

i know, we all only use Firefox, but...
sometimes clients use IE or other browsers, which don't
have firebug. I think using a pop-up or any other
browser-independent solution should be better.

Hi,
maybe it is also possible to integrate FirePHP (http://www.firephp.org/)
into that Module, but by now I hadn't a deeper look at it.
Cheer,

Maybe we wouldn't even need the pop-up; content from the log could be
displayed in Firebug, which would make the whole thing much easier.

How about a module for debugging?

For a start, it could just display the mapbender log (and the php
error log), maybe in one of the new javascript pop-ups. The pop-up
could work with AJAX and refresh its content periodically. It could
work like the "tail" command. It could also filter the log file, f.e.
only displaying the entries from the currently logged in user.

I guess it would make debugging considerably easier, especially with
remote clients with access or know-how limitations.

It should not be hard to implement. Do you think this is a good idea?
Any volunteers? :-)

Christoph
